Re: Could Someone Give me Advice on Setting Up Automation for Custom Brew Recipes?
Can you tell me what your hardware and software setup is right now? BrickPi, Bricks, OS, etc. on the Bierbot side. Also, provide the brewing hardware setup. Include what brewing hardware is being controlled by what Bierbot hardware. In the meantime, here is an example of a two step lager brew in Bie...

Re: Installation on a Raspberry Pi 5
I would say if it easy to reinstall the Pi OS for you, do that. Remember to do the updates first: sudo apt update sudo apt upgrade sudo reboot I just realized when I updated the README.md, I did it as if it was updating Bernhard's repo. Here is the install direction if you are cloning my bookworm up...

Re: Installation on a Raspberry Pi 5
Rüdiger, Here is a link to my fork for bookworm. I ran through it several times on an RPI4 and RPI5. I think it covers everything. The move to virtual environments meant some changes to the setup process, setup script and the startup script. Additionally, they dropped support for RPI.GPIO so a diffe...

Re: Pro API question
Sorry. Was out of town myself and missed you posted. Not sure what you are asking but here is a sample of the CrispMalt in BeerXML format that I would use. My plan would be get to write something that data maps your endpoints for ingredients to the equal endpoint in the beerxml and then imports it v...

Re: Flashen des BierBot Binary unter Linux
Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Re: Brewfather Integration
If you are running a Pi Brick you might be able to write a plugin. I have done two now. One to use TPLink Smart Plugs, another I am working on post data to a local influxdb2 database. How are you wanting to integrate? Here is the link to my plugin. In addition to the plugin, I made small changes to ...

Pro API question
Bernhard, Curious if there are any other endpoints exposed for use with the Pro API. Specifically, are ingredients accessible? Was hoping to leverage that to add ingredients. Someone asked about Crisp Malt. I have the data in beerxml format and could add it all that way. Heck I could add all the ing...

Re: Temp -127c
None of the suppliers where I live (south Africa) have stock of the DS probe anymore. I assume you have the new style probe (https://sonoff.tech/product/wts01/). From what I read that probe is actually the same type of probe as the old model. It is a standard DS18B20. You can cut the black plastic ...
