I think it is working now but that would be great. I’ll let you know when I have the repo updated.

Bernhard,

I know you have been busy with all the great changes and I am sure you have a life outside of bierbot. I was wondering if you have had time to look my repo and check my connections to your server. I think I have everything fixed now and tilt-pitch is respecting the next_request_ms. I am running tilt-sim on a ESP32 and have two "bricks" sending data to the server. The blue on is set to cycle between two static grav/temp pairs so there is variation. The orange is holds a single grav/temp. I would like turn the feeds off so I am not costing you unnecessary resources of money. But I don't want to shut them off if you are checking the fix.

I will assume my fix is good and shut it down Tuesday or Wednesday if you haven't responded.

Hey Chuck,

sorry for not getting back to you a timely manner.

Fixes look fine! Using "self.rate_limiter.period" seems like a solid / obvious choice.

Take it for a spin!

Do you plan of filing a PR back to linjmeyer/tilt-pitch?

Best,
Bernhard.

Great!! Glad that worked. I will kill the feed to you so I am not costing you resources or money. I do plan to provide the update to him. But, I actually forked from https://github.com/claudiuskastner/tilt-pitch who fork from https://github.com/linjmeyer/tilt-pitch. Claudius actually started a rework so I might need to switch to Linjmeyer first and then do the update. My coding experience is all 30 years old so I am having to learn a lot. To include github.
