Good afternoon.
I'm confused. After my Arduino system went bang I decided to give this a go on a pi.
Do I have to have the sonoff?
Watching the video on YouTube there is no sonoff and the wiring diagram doesn't show one, but I can't configure my pi as it says no brick connected.
Do I have to have a ds18b20 connected to my pi directly for it to recognize a ' brick'??
Confused 🤔
Re: Confused 🤔
Hey Digger,
A Brick van be built EITHER using a Sonoff OR a Raspberry Pi. If you went with RPi and it's not showing up online, chances are that some configuration is wrong - in the simplest case you've just copy-pasted the API key wrong. Or you've hit a bug in the software.
In both cases, pasting the contents of your bricks.log here would be helpful so I can help you better.
Cheers,
Bernhard.

Re: Confused 🤔
All sorted out now. It seemed to take nearly an hour to show up as a brick on the dashboard.
Another question. Can I add my temp sensors as I'm setting it up at work and my brewery is at home

Re: Confused 🤔
In the free Version of BierBot Bricks up to 3 interfaces are supported. So one relay and two temperature sensors for remote monitoring are absolutely possible!
